Joy worked in Industry before switching to the Law, and was admitted as a Solicitor by the Law Society in 1990.

Responsible for the Matrimonial and Family Law Department she has been an accredited member of the Law Society's Children Panel for the past 15 years. She has acquired a wide level of experience and expertise in matrimonial and family work, where she has represented both children and parents in care proceedings including complex cases in the High Court. Joy has a wealth of experience in both privately and publicly funded cases and in particular acts for Private Clients in preparing their Wills and the Administration of Estates. Joy also advises clients in relation to Powers of Attorney both Enduring and Lasting.
